Transparency Policy

How PAYI governs itself, manages funds, and holds itself accountable to donors, partners and the communities we serve.

This Transparency Policy explains PAYIu2019s commitments around governance, financial management and public accountability.

1. Governance Structure

PAYI is governed by an independent Board of Advisors, chaired by Prof. Caroline S. Hossein, which provides strategic oversight and holds the Executive Team accountable.

2. Financial Management

All PAYI funds are managed through dedicated organisational accounts, separate from any personal accounts of staff or leadership. Expenditures above a defined threshold require dual approval.

3. Donor Rights

Every PAYI donor has the right to know how their donation is used, request information on fund allocation, receive acknowledgment of their contribution, and have their information kept secure.

4. Conflict of Interest

Board members, executives and staff are required to disclose any personal or financial interest that could conflict with PAYIu2019s mission or decision-making.

5. Reporting & Public Access

PAYI commits to publishing an annual report summarising our activities, reach and financial position, freely accessible on our Financial Accountability page.

6. Raising Concerns

If you have a concern about PAYIu2019s governance or use of funds, contact us directly. All concerns are taken seriously and reviewed by the Board where appropriate.
